Meet our Founder

I am an old soul with a playful spirit. Many say I’m fun and quirky. I love elegance and luxury yet casual with a mix of bold colors ignites my passions. Life should be lived, not watched from the sidelines.

I was always an Artist with a love for Freud and Jung. I studied Auras at the age of 8. After winning many art awards I majored in Mental Health Counseling and crafted the art of speaking with people. I possess a driving force to understand what you like and how you want to live.  I’ve managed to integrate this need-to-understand with a talent to create spaces that represent my clients.

Design Process

“I believe that layering is key and accessories make each project personal. My selection of accessories are specifically curated to each client’s passion and my ability to blend Traditional with Modern Décor has earned me well-deserved accolades in the Interior Design Industry.”

Soon after starting LGC, Lori developed health issues and understood the importance of having a space that is healing. Delving into the heart of wellness, Lori has made it her mission to understand what roles design, materials, and cleaning products play in a well-designed home, as well as understanding what is important to her design clients. These experiences allow LGC Interiors to design dream homes that each client is looking for.

“We sit with our clients and complete an in-depth questionnaire to help us understand how the space will be used, how the family functions, color preferences, and even favorite animals. We learn how they live and what is important.”

“The spaces I design are driven to give one a feeling of calm and I have a strong background in color and an understanding of how color affects mood.”

Lori started LGC Interior Design in 2000 with a passion to help others. Initially working as a Mental Health Professional, Lori was one of the first HIV Counselors in New York, and served as Director of the Crime Victims Program for the Queens District Attorney, and ran the Psychiatric Units at Rikers Island Correctional Center for many years. This background helped Lori of how important it is to come home to a place that was calm and soothing. “A place where I could relax and enjoy the elements of fun sprinkled about”.

Known for her Luxury Design Projects, Lori was raised in New York and her time in Los Angeles curated her love for Old Hollywood Style. Raised in a family of Builders and Contractors she learned to have an attention to detail and have knowledge behind the Design process.
