Romantic Italian-Inspired Floral Tablescape at the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Spring Gala
Project Overview
We brought the romance of Italian love stories to life through "Amore Eterno: The Italian Way of Love," a breathtaking tablescape created for the prestigious Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Spring Gala on May 1, 2025, at Cipriani 42nd Street. Through a collaboration with event planner Deidre Luster and Bunny's Florals, we created an unforgettable dining experience that celebrated the eternal nature of true love while supporting a charitable cause dear to my heart.
The Design Vision
Drawing inspiration from Tuscan vineyards and timeless Italian romance, this tablescape transported guests into a world where passionate love stories unfold beneath Mediterranean skies. The design created an intimate environment that fostered connection and celebration among gala attendees through the use of color theory and multisensory elements.
Italian Opulence and Whimsical Details
The tablescape featured Venetian lace umbrellas cascading with delicate florals in romantic profusion. These intricate patterns symbolized the devotion and craftsmanship that define enduring love, while luminous pearl strands draped across the table represented years of unbreakable romance and Italian luxury.
True to our signature style, we incorporated whimsical touches throughout the evening. Floating flowers drifted down like romantic confetti, pearls adorned vodka bottles, and feather boas graced chair covers with a nod to Italian glamour. We alternated colored place settings so every guest experienced a unique perspective on our romantic story.
Fine crystal glassware from Estelle Colored Glass caught light like Lake Como's shimmering waters, while embroidered linens provided timeless elegance. Carefully orchestrated lighting cast a golden, honeyed glow across the tablescape, recreating that magical Italian golden hour when lovers exchange vows in Tuscan vineyards.
